Great Redwood Trail Community Event, October 14 2023

In October of 2023 the Great Redwood Trail Friends, with funding from KEET TV, held a community event to educate the public and celebrate the beginning of this grand project. This event also importantly provided the first opportunity for representatives from Senator Mike McGuire’s office to sit down in person with members of the Kinest’e coalition who are concerned about potential impacts on cultural sites.
